Key requirement
10 years experience working in the transport industry Proven 10 year management of vehicle fleet maintenance and operations Full understanding of the DOT tender contract and regulations Strong preventative maintenance systems knowledge is required Expert knowledge of technical regulations related to passenger transport Strong budgeting experience Previous experience in working with a variety of CMMS Transport Management Diploma Highly skilled communicator with the ability to manage multiple projects through to completion Project management skills Proven analytical, problem solving and organizational skills Strong computer skills Key responsibilities
Develop and monitor technical and capital budgets in order to meet company objectives Direct accountability of the Opex and Capex budget and tracking all expenditures for the different business units Manage coach and develop a high performance management system Create implement and monitor performance indicators on a quarterly basis Engage departmental heads to create and implement revenue and passenger objectives and customer service goals Provide meaningful operational data, interpret trends and analyze and review data to aid preparation of monthly, quarterly reports Overseeing the daily maintenance of vehicles in the fleet and equipment Ensure optimum use of the CMMS for efficient maintenance management of the fleet Maintain accurate maintenance records for each vehicle in the fleet in line with the CMMS in operation Ensure quality, compliance and safety of company's assets
