Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Key Account Manager to join their team in the Western Cape region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts within the Industrial Food Manufacturing industry. This role will involve a combination of technical expertise, customer relationship management, and business development activities.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the food manufacturing industry Provide technical support and solutions to customers, including product recommendations, troubleshooting, and process optimization Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and industry trends Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, quality control, and sales, to deliver value to customers Identify new business opportunities and work towards achieving sales targets Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products and services Stay up-to-date on industry developments and market trends
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field 5+ years of experience in technical sales or key account management within the industrial food manufacturing industry Strong technical knowledge of food processing, ingredients, and regulations Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English (Written and Verbal)
