This position aims to provide specialized sales and technical support on-site or in the field, with a focus on advisory and consulting functions. The role involves developing the Warehouse brand and related product lines through coordinating market research, sales projections, design efforts, budgets, and promotional campaigns. Additionally, the position includes identifying new market opportunities for introducing new products.

- Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to plan, prepare, submit, and achieve unit sales targets, as well as growth and profitability objectives.
- Provide technical sales support, including pricing and product information, to regional Sales Teams.
- Drive sales growth and increase market share for the designated brand, overseeing the entire sales process from introducing products to new clients, revisiting offerings with existing clients, and collaborating with Sales Managers to employ effective selling techniques and close deals.
- Ensure high-quality customer interactions and service by developing strategies for comprehensive coverage of assigned sales territories, fostering client partnerships, and tailoring solutions to meet client needs.
- Continually assess personal development needs and address knowledge and skill gaps.
- Manage financial aspects of deals in accordance with budgetary and company strategic goals, ensuring quality in rental business activities, meeting order intake, invoicing, and gross profit targets.
- Execute key administrative functions diligently, such as contract delivery and collection, approval of discounts within limits, and conducting site inspections.
- Prepare and deliver reports as required.
- Uphold customer service standards aligned with the company’s vision and values.
- Contribute responsibly to departmental growth initiatives in alignment with company requirements.
- Demonstrate capability in developing and implementing operational innovations.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
- Eagerness to acquire proficiency in Production System (TPS) skills and oversee related projects internally and externally.
- Learn new skills related to A.G.V. technology and manage projects from quotation through commissioning and handover phases.
- Maintain effective relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and international partners.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric/Grade12
- National Diploma or Degree in Industrial Engineering
- Sales qualifications are an added advantage.
- Minimim of 5years work experience in the material handling or similar industrial equipment
- Sales environment product knowledge is a key requisite.
- Project Management experience.
- Must have the technical ability to learn and understand software packages related to warehouse optimisation.
- Ability to interpret warehousing design drawings and specify correct material handling solutions.
- Ability to understand follow safety measures and precautions.
- Ability to function effectively in a group and add value to team / environment
- Ability to develop constructive and co-operative working relationships with others and maintain it over a period of time.
