Overview
Our client are looking for multi-skilled candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for the position of Product Manager. Product Managers improve customer experiences, generate new product ideas, and outline detailed product strategies, among other duties.
Responsibilties: Provide input into the strategic direction for the product portfolio, including a defined product roadmap
Act as the business owner for MWEB products and services, which may be under development, in use or undergoing extension or redevelopment
Be responsible for business and product feasibility in relation to business modeling and costing models
Negotiation with internal departments to launch new products and to enhance existing products
Conduct monthly and ad-hoc competitor reviews
Go-to-Market and co-ordination for product rollouts and pricing changes, enhancements, and promotions
Pro-actively propose review and propose new opportunities, pricing changes or responses to market changes
Adapt products across multiple channels, for our consumers, corporates, and resellers
Commercial negotiations with potential partners and vendors
Maintain and manage relationships with various suppliers
Be the knowledge expert on the core product detail and processes
Liaison with legal and compliance functions to ensure compliance of products and services
Document and define product business rules
Management of the associate product manager in execution of product changes, support, and product launches

Qualifications: Degree or diploma in a commercial or technical field. (BCom, Engineering or Computer Science) would be advantageous
Knowledge of ISP industry
Experience in a sales and marketing environment
Proficient in MS Word and MS PowerPoint, and an advanced competency in MS Excel
Proven competence in all areas of Product Life-Cycle Management
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a product management, ISP or telecommunications industry.
Experience with presentations to senior management and external stakeholders
