Position Description:
As part of our 5 year IT roadmap, we have identified the requirement for the Industrial Engineering team to support the continuous improvement process change required. The focus in 2023 is the identification of requirements for replacement of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management System. All significant risks identified need to be mapped and improvement plans need to be put in place. New process improvements will need to be mapped and rolled out in teams which result from implementation of new systems.
The incumbent’s roles and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Mapping of all processes involving ERP and Warehouse Management functions
- Support and assist the Senior Business Process and Technology Manager in execution of System Strategies
- Documenting Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs)
- Work with business analysts to gather functional and reports requirements for systems implementation projects
- Review current business and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work with process owners to implement process improvement changes to reduce lead time, improve quality, reduce risk, and improve delivery scorecard
- Project manage initiatives as and when they are assigned

- Currently reside in Cape Town
