Role Purpose
The operations and maintenance engineer is responsible for the deployment, testing and maintenance of the company solar plants. The O&M Engineer oversees the field teams in charge of plant construction and the physical acceptance of all new plants. The O&M Engineer is responsible for the cold commissioning of our BESS solutions to third parties and manages integrally the customer technically experience with the plants. The role involves travel as and when required to support plants and customers within Southern Africa and involves an important amount of field time in front of customers during planning, commissioning and maintenance/Repair operations.
Responsibilities
Management of Field crews for New builds and Systems testing Maintenance. Logistics and material planning for Plant construction and Maintenance operations Crews scheduling planning including contracted Service level agreement operations planning Plants physical Commissioning including commissioning Reports for Installation. Electrical testing for all plants commissioning Remote Monitoring of all plants base contracted by Service level agreement. Report generation for maintenance operations for customers under SLA. Field visits for new builds including energy recording and data processing for sales team proposal elaboration. Technical assistance and field Commissioning of REVOMax BESS product line to customers nationwide. First level
