ENVIRONMENT:
A dynamic Mobile Specialist seeks a highly confident, dynamic, and vibrant Key Account Manager to join its Sales team in Cape Town to effectively market & sell products in a professional capacity by establishing new business relationships & maintaining relationships with existing clients. This team player should be an outspoken, a very motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships. You should also have a Qualification/Certification in Sales/Business Management/Marketing or other related field with 3 years work experience in a Sales Rep role – preferably in Telecommunications with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding defined sales targets. You will also require Retail experience – tracking of Weekly/ Monthly sell in and sell out run rate business, able to accurately plan/ manage customer and company inventory monthly and have excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to create & deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs. Monthly travel to JHB & KZN will be expected.DUTIES: Manage existing accounts meeting all needs of the customer. New Business Development. Implement Sales Strategies/ Business Plans aligned to meet sales targets. Maintain excellence in customer relations with both existing and new client base. Reach monthly and quarterly targets. Provide competitive information such as tenders, industry trends, market related pricing, data etc. Improve product knowledge and sales techniques. Submission of planners and reports as requested by Sales Manager. Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers. Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs. Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships. Reach out to customer leads through cold calling. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction. Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule. Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments. Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports. Supply Management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends. Continuously improve through feedback. REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications – Qualification/Certification in Sales, Business Management, Marketing or another relevant field required. Experience/Skills – At least 3 years-experience in a Sales Representative role preferably in the Telecommunications industry. Proven track record to meet or exceed defined sales targets.
