Responsibilities
:
Line Opening and Line Closing in the Fill & Pack department
Regular In-Process line checks to ensure quality and integrity is maintained throughout the packing process
Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor.
Ensuring that the correct bulk gets issued;
Ensuring that tanks are easily identified;
Perform In-process quality and quantity checking;
Ensuring packaging line standard is correct and available before production starts;
Report on deviations to ensure the continual quality improvement process.
Approves finished products by conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work, so that all outgoing finished goods meet quality standards and specifications.
Records inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste.
Verify instruments daily to ensure accuracy.
Ensure that measuring equipment is calibrated according to the required standards.
Ensure that all balances are verified daily according to SANS 1841 (Quantity Control) and the Trade
Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and company policies.

Qualification:
Matric, with Mathematics and Science
Quality Control/Assurance Qualification
Minimum five years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance
Sound knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Access)
Knowledge of Syspro would be advantageous
Minimum five years experience in ISO 22716 (GMP facility),
Knowledge of Cosmetic, Food or Pharmaceutical GMP
