ENVIRONMENT:
An established and expanding PropTech firm located in Westlake is actively searching for a Product Manager. This role involves shaping the product strategy and roadmap, overseeing the development of comprehensive product documentation that highlights prioritized features along with their justifications. The ideal candidate should possess a demonstrated history of accomplishment in product management and delivery, showcasing their adeptness in handling all phases of a product’s journey. Additionally, a track record of formulating effective product strategies and adeptly conveying suggestions to top management is required. A robust technical foundation accompanied by familiarity and practical involvement in software development and web technologies is highly valued. DUTIES: Define the product strategy and roadmap. Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation with prioritized features and corresponding justification. Create buy-ins for the product vision both internally and with key external partners. Translate product strategy and customer insights into detailed requirements and prototypes. Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact. Work closely with the development team to support technical workflow – including being hands-on with tech task definition, estimation, testing and acceptance criteria. Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth. Develop product pricing and positioning strategies. Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources. Drive product launches including working with marketing team, executives, and other team members. Define and manage product metrics and KPI’s. REQUIREMENTS: Proven work experience and success in product management and delivery. Track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle. Proven ability to develop a product strategy and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management. Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. Agile project management or equivalent qualification. Experience using and managing Jira as an organisation space would be helpful. A plus, but not required: A technical degree from a university or experience in software engineering Experience of the proptech sector, GIS is desirable.
