Job Title: Construction Manager
Hire Resolves client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee their construction projects in Sasolburg, Free State. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project completion on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and safety. Coordinate and oversee the work of subcontractors and construction crews. Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and regulations. Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets. Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members. Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures on job sites. Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction projects. Provide regular project updates and reports to company leadership.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Experience with project management software and tools. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. SACPCMP registration as a construction manager will be advantageous. Must be very conversant with reading and interpreting of piping ISO’s, P&ID’s, MFD’s and associated mechanical GS drawings, electrical drawings and instrumentation loop drawings.
