Responsibilities
:
Assist the Plant Engineer in ensuring the effective functioning of the maintenance department.
Creating of SAP orders for purchases
Liaising with suppliers regarding lead times of order deliveries
Assisting Storeman with month-end stock take
Managing all aspects of imports
Obtain competitive quotes from suppliers
Managing of the weekly expense sheet
Ensure accurate and up to date paperwork at all times
General filing and administrative duties to ensure all paperwork in the Engineering department is in order
Any reasonable tasks required by Maintenance Coordinator
Key Skills:
Ability to work at a very fast pace,
Analytical and exceptionally accurate,
Strong knowledge of FMCG manufacturing processes, bakery preferred,
Attention to detail and sense of urgency,
Must be able to handle pressure,
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills,
Excellent with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP,
Qualifications:
Technical background with spares, stores and purchasing
3+ years’ experience in a similar role
3+ years’ (recently) working in SAP daily
