Participating in HAZOP/HAZAN studies, value engineering exercises and design reviews if required.
To mentor engineers via guidance and knowledge transfer in a team work environment.
Preparing designs and technical proposals for engineering studies and industrial tenders.
Conducting plant audits and provide expertise for troubleshooting and operations optimisation on the companies contracts
Interacting with mechanical, draughting, civil, electrical and control systems engineering disciplines on engineering studies and tenders.
Keep up to date with latest technologies, design tools & guidelines and developments inside the Companies Group, in the Energy Management field and from local / international suppliers
Writing of technical reports
Ensure health and safety legislation and contractual obligations pertaining to health & safety are adhered to throughout the project.
Read and understand the latest ISO9001 manual for the procedures pertaining to the Tendering, Engineering and Projects Division.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, consultants and contractors on technical and commercial aspects
Interacts with partners and other companies in the group
Produce presentations and/or represent the company at trade fairs and seminars.
Attend all training seminars pertaining to this position.
Perform any other duties required by the Technical Manager

Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in Process, Mechanical/Mechatronic, Industrial Engineering or
similar relevant qualification.
Five to seven years experience as a Design, Industrial or Production Engineer, with a
specific focus on Utilities (Boilers, Cooling Towers, Chillers etc) and implementation of general Energy Saving Measures.
A good understanding of Waste to Energy Technologies (Anaerobic Digestion, CHP, Incineration etc), Solar Power Plants and other decarbonisation initiatives will be beneficial.
ECSA Registration as a Professional Engineer would be an advantage
