My client is a leading retailer in SA and they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join the growing dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in retail or ecommerce and a proven track record of building and developing successful checkout and fulfilment solutions.
Responsibilities:
Take ownership of our retail/ecommerce checkout and fulfilment products and lead product development from conception to launch Work closely with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, developers, marketing, and customer service teams to identify new features and enhancements Define and prioritize product requirements and features based on market analysis, customer feedback, and business objectives Develop and maintain timelines, product roadmaps, and project plans to ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases Lead the product team, consisting of scrum master, business analyst, designer, tech leads, developers, and testers, to deliver against product roadmap. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and measure success metrics and regularly report on product performance Work with the UX designers and Architecture team to conceive of solutions and work with Value Architect to determine the value and return on investment of these initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role Strong experience in ecommerce/retail industry and building/developing successful checkout and fulfilment solutions Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and interpret data to make data-driven decisions Agile/Scrum experience preferred
