A vacancy for an Assembly Process Engineer has arisen in the Process Engineering Department reporting to the Senior Process Engineer
PURPOSE:
To plan, implement and improve manufacturing processes in order to support meeting the company’s manufacturing objectives and business objectives according to ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Provide management with the information with which they can effectively manage the company’s resources.
- Improve productivity and scrap rates within the areas of delegated responsibility.
- Manage the continued planning and implementation of process optimization.
- Ensure continued compliance to the company’s business requirements, customer specific requirements such as quality, health and safety, environmental and prevailing legislative requirements.
- Control plans and provide necessary technical input and problem-solving using 8D process for potential and actual process failures.
- Manage process engineering projects and resolve engineering problems with internal departments and OEMs.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Electrical/Mechatronic/Technical Diploma/Degree with 3+ years’ experience
- Electrical/Mechatronic Trade Tested with 5+ years’ experience.
- Computer Literacy MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
- High speed assembly process and equipment knowledge and experience
- PLC and Yaskawa Robot programming experience
- Ultrasonic, Hotplate and Vibration Welding experience
- Working knowledge of electro pneumatics equipment design
- FMEA and Control Plan knowledge and experience
