The Associate, Asset Management plays a pivotal role in providing dynamic strategic and financial support to the assets overseen by the Asset Manager (AM). This individual spearheads the identification of value creation opportunities, collaborating closely with the asset team—comprised of members from various divisions and departments—to envision the future trajectory of our retail assets across the United States to implement our vision of creating Sustainable, Mixed-Use Places that help us Reinvent Being Together.
Daily, the Associate tackles operational tasks with precision, managing a variety of asset-based projects and maintaining a tight-knit collaboration with their team. With a keen business acumen and a penchant for numbers, they excel in navigating complex environments and solving intricate problems effectively. Embracing a proactive approach, the Associate fosters a results-driven culture within their team, driving towards the attainment of collective goals and objectives.
Scope
- Drive Growth and Value: Spearhead efforts to boost Net Rental Income and enhance property value, ensuring alignment between the overarching asset vision and Five-Year Business Plan
- Strategic Analysis: Leverage market insights and knowledge to determine optimal merchandise strategy and opportunity for value enhancement projects.
- Innovation and Value Creation: Propose and model innovative ideas for value enhancement, including special projects and alternative uses. Supporting the Development Projects to unlock the long-term vision for the asset.
- Financial Prioritization: Create and see through a Five-Year budget in terms of strategic focuses, future growth, financial prioritization and allocation of capital and resources to drive the greatest commercial results.
- Project Leadership: Lead various projects supporting leasing, management, marketing, development, and finance to achieve portfolio targets and influence team success.
- Team Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to our team, fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
- Operational Excellence: Act as a reference point for the portfolio, ensuring smooth operations and driving efficiency enhancements across the business.
What we are looking for

LA: $110,000 – $155,000 + Discretionary Annual Bonus
NYC: $115,000 – $160,000 + Discretionary Annual Bonus
