Duties
- Control of servicing, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance
- Dispatching technicians to breakdowns
- Daily planning of technicians’ work
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in the material handling industry or related.
- Three years of experience in a similar role.
- Good communication skills
- Excellent computer skills.
- The ability to understand technical procedures.
- Good communication abilities – both written and verbal
- Able to deal with the staff in an assertive but fair manner.
- Prepared to be available after working hours.
- Must be able to deal with customers in an amicable way.
- The ability to withstand pressure situations.
- Self-disciplined in their attention to detail
- The ability to escalate potentially contentious situations.
- Computer literate and competent in understanding new systems.
- Able and willing to carry out the instructions.
- Experience in a similar environment will be advantageous.
