Responsibilities
Source and procure mechanical parts and equipment, with a focus on yellow tape equipment and car parts. Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms. Manage inventory levels to ensure the workshop is always adequately stocked. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Conduct market research to stay updated on new products and industry trends. Collaborate with the mechanical workshop team to understand their needs and provide timely solutions. Monitor and manage purchase orders, ensuring their accuracy and completeness. Work closely with the finance department to ensure timely payments and resolve any discrepancies. Maintain detailed records of purchases, suppliers, and inventory. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of mechanical engineering experience Minimum 3 years of experience as a purchaser of mechanical parts Knowledge of yellow machinery as well as vehicle parts Previous experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the construction industry Strong negotiation and communication skills Organizational and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing software Valid driver’s license

Strong mechanical background with practical experience. Expertise in procurement processes and supplier management. Familiarity with yellow tape equipment and car parts. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills. Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
