We are seeking a Vice President of Business Development and Innovation to join URW’s Westfield Rise. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Business Development, this role will play a key lead role in developing and implementing an innovative go-to-market strategy on developing powerful vertical sales and product roadmap narratives, strategies, and products to support the sales team to acquire new partnerships, monetizing existing partnerships and generating new revenue channels.
Scope
- Vertical Sales Strategies – develop and drive vertical industry (IE Luxury, Automotive) strategies and go to market narratives to showcase how advertisers in each vertical can partner with Westfield Rise to drive more impact and engagement for their brand. Strategies will leverage the full breadth of the URW / Westfield Rise eco-system with DOOH, experiential, pop-ups, events, integrations, and sponsorship opportunities.
- Sponsorship Opportunities – develop thoughtful sponsorship opportunities for verticals to integrate into Westfield locations. Work with design and development teams to get ahead of development projects to factor in ideas/needs for Westfield Rise vertical opportunities. Factor in how these opportunities impact and enhance the consumer journey.
- Insights & Data – integrate rich data and insights to support vertical narratives.
- Partner With Sales Team – collaborate with the Sale team to better understand needs, opportunities, market feedback, etc. to build out the vertical narratives. Partner with the Sales team to roll out new vertical narratives and opportunities.
- Project Development Roadmap – develop and manage roadmap of vertical narrative rollout and product development requests/needs/opportunities to ensure key milestones are hit on time.
- Innovation – look for ways to constantly be developing new capabilities and innovations to maximize the opportunities Westfield Rise launches in market. Work with SVP, Tech Team, and Operations to move from ideation to pilot and execution phases for new capabilities.
- Vertical RFP’s – support the Sales team with strategic RFP opportunities to maximize revenue growth and sell thru rates.
- Lead and Manage – inspire, collaborate, lead, and manage a Director of Business Development and Innovation as a strategic partner.
- Competitive Intelligence – Develop deep and comprehensive market and industry understanding and competitive analysis by understanding trends and insights across the market. Special focus on media/experiential/sponsorship innovation and other properties/transit locations.

- Highly experienced in building go to market strategy and narratives, supporting sales organizations or marketing teams.
- Proven success driving innovation through business development, product innovation, and new partnerships to drive revenue.
- History of thriving in a rapidly changing environment.
- Reputation for being able to make informed and sound decisions that propel the business forward.
- Able to leverage key industry relationships to uncover new product and revenue opportunities.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to build new product solutions.
- Exceptional PowerPoint abilities.
- Outstanding written and oral presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
- Four-year college degree.

$200,000 – $250,000 + Discretionary Annual Bonus
