About the Role
Responsible for developing and maintaining effective business relationships with key stakeholders including local suppliers.
Plan, co-ordinate and supervise the operational activities of the department and ensure optimal utilization of the infrastructure with regards to workplace.
Responsible for the implementation of CRE strategic direction within Africa.
Develop and implement general policies and procedures for the locations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent customer service.
Prepare and monitor the location (s) operating budget.
Project Management – required involvement in CRE moves, renovations, build and operations.
Ensure the management of internal environmental standards is adhered to and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform annual review of all S&S plans in the location to ensure compliance.
About You

To be successful, you need to be detail oriented and have strong project management, communication, negotiation, partnering and problem solving skills. Do you consider yourself to be a "self-starter" with a positive 'CAN DO' attitude, able and willing to take initiative and implement measures in a goal-oriented manner with:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Property Management with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or over 10 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong leadership abilities, capable of effectively managing teams across two locations.
Proficient in project management, you will be responsible for implementing local office initiatives.
Skilled in building relationships with top management and employees at all levels.
Strong business acumen.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
The role is based in Johannesburg and will require some travel to Cape Town up to 50%.
