The role
At Nile, we see roles as an opportunity for personal development. As our business
grows, so will the scope of your role. Today, our team requires an experienced Commercial Manager - Exports. The successful applicant will take ownership of the following functions:
- Manage key accounts with importers and distributors in specific regions.
- Drive adoption of Nile's online platform by training users to leverage the online functionality.
- Work closely with the Head of Exports to develop systems and processes to improve efficiency of export operations.
- Support with operational execution of export transactions.
- Support finance team with quality and payment queries.
Requirements
- Experience in fresh produce export is required
- Bachelor Degree or higher
- Excellent Communicator with high degree of ownership
- Inclination to adopt new systems and technologies
- Ability to work within a fast-changing environment
- Ability to build strong business relationships
