The ideal candidate must have completed or be in the process of completing an accredited finance or accounting qualification and committed to a training contract. This is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow and gain exposure to an array of related business services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce client reports.
- Perform accounting work.
- Administrative duties.
- Full bookkeeping and accounting function up to trial balance, including debtors, creditors, bank, petty cash, journals, etc.
- Handling of VAT and PAYE reviews.
- Invoicing and debtors’ collection.
- IRP5 calculations, reconciliations and submissions.
- Liaison with clients.
- Maintenance of SARS accounts.
- PAYE/UIF/SDL calculations and EMP201 submissions.
- Registration and deregistration for Income Tax, PAYE, VAT and Import and Export licenses.
- Tax clearance applications.
- UIF registration and administration.
- VAT calculations and VAT201 submissions.
- WCA registrations, submission of returns and arranging letters of good standing.
Qualifications and experience:
- BAccounting, BCom Accounting, BCom Management Accounting, BCom Financial Accounting, or equivalent.
- CIMA qualification in progress.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Driver’s license and own transport.
