The Continuous Improvement LEAN Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and coordination of the site’s/ Country CI initiative.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training/ workshops to drive cultural change; 5S workshops. With management support, be a driving presence to lead, encourage, and motivate change.
- Conduct root cause analysis and training to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing/ business and manufacturing issues, material flow & value stream, project plans, production capacity, and create process documentation.
- Carrying out data collection and analysis for process mapping, develop budgets and cost analysis to determine improvement opportunities, as well as measuring impact of improvement efforts.
- Assist development of job instructions to identify best practice world class manufacturing methods, use as training tools, and audit for consistent adherence.
- Assist in implementing Industry 4.0 in our Plants.
- Help manage the quality management system to drive an effective quality system, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce quality related failure costs.
- Oversee the plant KPI’s and strive continuous improvement from assisting the team with information to drive data driven decisions which will result in financial savings and support goals and targets.
- Develop, prioritize, and implement solutions to reduce waste and improve performance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quality assurance.
- Familiarization or experience with ISO management system.
- Training in Lean manufacturing principles.
- Training in Six Sigma.
- Good communication skills, both verbal & written, and problem-solving skills.
- Good time/task management organizational skills.
- Strong self-motivated. Takes self-initiative in reaching goals & objectives.
- Proven analysis and presentation skills including use of common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
