Our client has an opportunity available for an Electrical Technology Engineer.
Requirements:
- Eng, BSC (Eng) or B Tech degree in Technology Electrical Engineering or Electrical trade with National-N-Diploma.
- Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa would be advantageous.
- Registered as an Installation Electrician.
- Matric
- Code B driver’s license.
- 10 to 15 years’ experience in Design and Maintenance of Electrical systems, Emergency Power systems, Uninterruptable Power systems, Solar and Hybrid systems.
KPAs:
- Lead, implement and manage the technology strategy through the development of an operational and leadership plan which is in line with the business tactical plan.
- Review and development of all Engineering asset care assessment audit sheets with related implementation initiatives.
- Approval of high-level designs, specifications, new technology implementation, Factory Acceptance Testing, undertake or assist with first and final handover of projects.
- Incident investigation, problem solving and technical support writing skills.
- Engineering Asset Life Cycle Management.
- Develop and maintain asset maintenance strategies.
