JOB TITLE: HR Officer
LOCATION: North West
INDUSTRY: Mining
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Develop and implement HR policies and procedures specific to the mining industry
– Assist with recruitment and selection processes for positions within the mining sector
– Develop and implement training programs for mining employees
– Manage employee relations and handle employee grievances
– Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to employment in the mining industry
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and employee files
– Provide HR support to managers and employees in the mining sector
– Assist with performance management processes, including conducting performance reviews for mining employees
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR practices are aligned with the overall business strategy
– Keep up-to-date with developments in the mining industry and adjust HR practices accordingly
REQUIREMENTS:
– Bachelor’s degree in HR management or related field
– Previous experience working in HR within the mining industry
– Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations in the mining sector
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
– Certification in HR management or related field (. SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
