FMCG Brand Manager (Marketing product nationally - work remotely)
A burgeoning brand specializing in value-added products derived from Macadamia nuts in South Africa.
We are seeking a highly skilled individual who can effectively spearhead various aspects of our business operations in South Africa. The ideal candidate will be tasked with a range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Establishing a Strong Brand Presence: Develop strategies to enhance the visibility and recognition as the premier choice among competitors in the South African market.
- Business and Marketing Plan Development: Formulate comprehensive plans to drive sales, increase market share, and ensure sustainable growth for South Africa.
- Sales Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives to effectively promote and distribute products across various retail channels including major stores, coffee shops, delis, health shops, and coffee franchises.
- Distribution Network Expansion: Strategize and execute initiatives to ensure widespread availability of product in key retail outlets throughout South Africa.
- Social Media Management: Collaborate with appointed social media agencies to curate engaging content, manage online presence, and leverage digital platforms to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
In addition to the outlined responsibilities, we prefer candidates with a strong background in the food industry, coupled with a deep understanding of the South African economy and distribution landscape. The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and must possess the ability to work autonomously while consistently adding value to our brand.
