Job Description
Job Purpose
The EMAP PR (Public Relations) Manager will be instrumental in shaping and driving the company's external communication strategy, with a strong focus on thought leadership to elevate the brand's presence and engagement. The role includes the development of high-impact content and robust media channel strategies, ensuring that our brand message is consistent, timely, and relevant. The EMEA and PR manager will closely collaborate with local teams, and manage the regional PR agency to ensure consistent execution of the PR Regional strategy.
Principle responsibilities
Communication Strategy
Develop and execute a regional communication strategy that aligns with our corporate objectives and enhances our position across markets; Collaborate with executive leadership to disseminate visionary statements, opinion pieces, and researches that position the company as a forward-thinking leader in Data and Technology field; Ensure messaging is consistent yet tailored to meet regional needs and cultural nuances.
Media Relations and Outreach
Lead regional media relations strategy to improve visibility and media coverage across different regions; Day to day management of Regional PR agency to ensure consistency in public relations efforts. Draft press kit materials, including press releases, fact sheets, bios, backgrounders, etc.; Facilitate approvals, translations, coordination and distribution of press releases; Secure and manage media coverage for company announcements, events, and thought leadership Coordinating response to media inquiries; Representing the region at regular bi-weekly stand up call of the Global PR community Work closely with company executives to craft key messages and talking points, preparing executives for interviews, speaking engagements, and other public appearances; Craft compelling advertorials that align with the brand and resonate with the target B2B audience; Ensure all content is optimized for a variety of channels and platforms, maintaining a cohesive brand voice; Collaborate with content creators and SEO specialists to optimize content for search engines; Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product marketing and social media teams to maintain coordination.
Crisis Communication and reputation management
Responsible for developing and executing effective communication strategies that align with the overall crisis communication objectives including stakeholder communication, message development and storytelling; Craft and maintain communication materials specific to the crisis situation in alignment and collaboration with Corporate, investor relation and business leaders, including press releases, statements, FAQs, talking points, and other written or visual content.
Analytics and Impact Assessment
Regularly report on the impact of communications to senior stakeholders and refine strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
Required qualifications/experience
BA (MA would be a plus) in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Multimedia, Humanistic studies or equivalent; Over 5-7 years of experience in corporate communications in B2B sector Proven track record and experience at international level Expertise in handling international media relations and a strong understanding of global market dynamics; Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Proficiency/ Mastery in English, fluency in one other major global language is a plus; Great communication skills and experience with producing data-driven, high-quality content; Experience working in a complex organization and a habit to work on cross-functional projects, coordinating efficiently with senior leaders, peers and junior colleagues.
