Responsibilities
Report directly to the Operations Branch Manager. Oversee and manage all port operations effectively. Ensure targets are met and deadlines are adhered to. Maintain high ethical standards and compliance with regulations and laws. Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members. Set and uphold high standards of performance and operational efficiency. Coordinate and arrange shift timetables for operational staff. Manage and supervise site operations staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Handle administrative tasks proficiently, including managing paperwork and Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
Requirements
Experience in the logistics industry is highly advantageous. Demonstrated ability to meet targets and deadlines. Strong adherence to ethical standards, regulations, and laws. Excellent organizational and administrative skills. Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Willingness to work flexible hours and manage shift timetables. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficient in project management software and relevant tools.
