They are currently in search of a qualified Business Development Associate located in Johannesburg to lead remote business development efforts for an exciting Swiss Asset Management Consulting Company. Their aim is to expand their South African clientele, and they see you as the ideal leader for this mission. As a crucial member of their growing team, your contributions will significantly influence the company’s success and provide you with outstanding prospects for personal and professional development. The most critical requirement for this role is a background and experience in the Asset Management sector, either directly or indirectly. Individuals with experience in banks with a focus on the Asset Management side, are welcome. Indirect experience could also include companies that have Asset Managers as their clients. DUTIES: Research target clients across (specific region). Generate new leads and establish suitable points of contact. Engage with decision-makers at prospective clients and build strong relationships daily. Create, execute, and manage outbound sales and business development campaigns. Effectively manage the sales pipeline within your designated region. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in business or a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the Asset Management, Banking, or Financial Services industry. Experience with CRM software or a similar platform is advantageous. Prior B2B sales success is advantageous. ATTRIBUTES: Strong understanding of the sales process. Excellent lead researcher.
