An independent engineering firm able to provide existing businesses access to an engineering department for the development of products and engineered solutions, is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their Randburg-based team. You will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5 years work experience in relevant field of engineering and management and high and low voltage knowledge. DUTIES: System requirement specification. System testing and trouble shooting. Client callouts. PLC programming. Microchip programming in C using Atmel. Process and instrumentation diagram generation. Wiring diagram interpretation and generation. Management of designated team. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in engineering. 5 years’ work experience in relevant field of engineering and management. High and low voltage knowledge. imbedded system experience. PLC programming. CANbus knowledge would be advantages. Automobile electrical experience would be advantageous. Wire routing. Knowledge in Solidworks electrical would be advantageous.
