Hiring: Business development and Exports Manager (Pharmaceutical) - Midrand
The Business Development and Exports Manager will lead strategic initiatives to expand market presence and drive revenue growth across Southeast Africa. Responsibilities include developing business strategies, identifying partnership opportunities, managing commercial negotiations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing distribution networks. This role requires strong leadership to collaborate across departments, monitor market trends, and maintain profitability in export markets.
Qualifications:
BSc Life Science Degree
Post-graduate business qualification (e.g., MBA / PDM preferred)
Minimum 5 – 10 years proven experience in business development within the pharmaceutical industry
Sales and Marketing experience is an added advantage
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory compliance and procedures in various export countries
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-cultural environment
Proficient in English
