Responsibilities:
Processing of financial information Performing balance sheet reconciliations Calculation of VAT & EMP return information and reconciliations Completion of VAT & EMP returns Processing of payroll information Fixed asset register maintenance and wear-and-tear allowance calculations COID Return of Earning calculation and preparation SARS verifications/audits/queries Management of allocated client portfolios and relationships Calculation of provisional taxes Preparation of Formal and Standard management report Analytical procedures and understanding of purpose and results Preparation of Financial Statement Compilations Preparation of Independent Review procedures and engagements of Financial Statements Client queries and collaboration with related departments/seniors Submission/filing of VAT and EMP returns Preparation and filing of EMP reconciliations and IRP5 Certificates Submission of COIDA Return of Earnings Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and team members Continuously be on the look-out for innovative opportunities to improve on efficiency, quality and service delivery Requirements Matric with good grade achieved for Accounting Mustt be studying towards a Bachelor of Accounting degree, or equivalent. Prior bookkeeping experience (advantageous) Experience in Xero Accounting (advantageous) Good Excel skills and experience

Position-specific basic setup requirements
Drivers Licence and own vehicle is required for this position. Ability to work from home with stable internet connection and electricity back-up.
