Innovative IT company seeks Business Development Manager. Hunt for new business at medium to large accounts.
What the person must be able to do:
This role is in the PABX industry. As such, the person must be able to execute all job tasks in a the Office Automation and PABX context and environment. The company has developed a unique Software as a Service solution. This solution enables organisations to manage expenses through effective management of telephone call costs. The person must sell the software solution to potential medium to large enterprises.
Identify and target new customers Cold calling and networking to generate new leads Leverage existing network to gain new business Identify key decision makers in new Accounts Develop consultative relationships with key decision makers (Know you, like you, trust you) Break into new accounts Create and identify new opportunities in the Account Qualify sales opportunities (Determine if the customer is going to buy) Progress sales opportunities to close Presentation of Sales Solution Proposal writing and pricing Assist customer with budgeting and business cases Address customer objections to solutions Pricing and contract negotiation Manage account politics Achieve and over-achieve sales targets Report on sales opportunities Sales forecasting

Background work experience
2+ Years Sales Experience Preference for PABX or Office Automation Sales Experience Top achiever who has consistently overachieved targets If not Office Automation Experience, must be from Hardcore Hunter sales such as Insurance or Hunter Health Club memberships or similar industry Account Management Exposure Advantageous Technology background and passion – Advantageous

Salary:
Basic: R 20K-R25K per month (dependent on experience and proven track record)
On Target: R 40K to R 50K per month
Maximum Earnings: No salary cap
