The Role:
• Provide extensive logistic support to the local and regional CT business.
• Maximize service levels to our customers and minimize supply chain costs.
• Maintaining a stock level in accordance with the agreed service level.
• Inventory Management.
• Order Management to ensure timely Order Processing and Invoicing.
• Integrated transport logistics.
• Total Logistics function that includes ordering, receipts, custom clearance, inspection,
picking, packing, warehousing, invoice initiation, distribution, and customer contact.
• Administrative order processing and shipping of CT machines.
• Supervision and controlling of all logistics related functions.
• Develop and recommend appropriate instructions and working procedures for the administration of the
logistics functions.
• Monitor and continually improve logistics department performance against set objectives.
• Evaluate the performance and proficiency of personnel in the department and recommends staff for
necessary training to upgrade skills. (Performance appraisals).
• Ensure the Company’s stock is properly protected, and physical Stock-take is made in strict adherence to
the FAM policy and instructions.
• Negotiates forwarders / transporter contracts.
• Authorization of local purchases, freight charges, credit notes, overtime, leave/sick leave as per Procura.
• Price administration (standard cost, sales price, purchase price) based on settings by Business line mgrs.
• Customer support and satisfaction.
What we expect of you?
• Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• Supervisory and training skills.
• Computer literacy – good working knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
• Good telephone skills.
• Good product knowledge.
• Interpersonal skills to work with customers, suppliers, and management of the team.
