A well-established wealth specialist based in Umhlanga is seeking to employ an experienced Client Relationship Specialist to join their growing team.
Key responsibilities:
- Attending to all existing client queries and requests timeously and professionally thereby offering the highest levels of service.
- Handling, maintenance and tracking of all leads received by the Wealth Specialist team such that these leads are contacted and followed up within the company's set time lines
- Maintenance, reconciliation and submission of the Wealth Specialist team's daily recon template and daily figures
- Liaising with all clients allocated to the Wealth Specialist team as per company's set guidelines
- Full and proper use of the company's CRM package XPlan
- Checking of all deal packs, cover schedules and will applications submitted by Wealth Specialists are completed correctly and in full and then submitted to the Regional Admin Manager for final checking.
- Attending to any outstanding requirements to complete a deal
- Understanding of company products
- Ensure company is always compliant with the regulations of the FSCA and FAIS Act
- Conducting client reviews in a FAIS compliant manner; conducting a full review taking into account full needs analysis and any changes in the client circumstances
- Achievement of targets set by the company and it's targets and deliverables
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Strong and fundamental understanding of Financial Markets, Securities and Financial Instruments being Equities, Fixed income, Bonds, Listed Property and Cash Instruments as well as local and foreign investment schemes.
- Good understanding of local and global economic fundamentals
- Good understanding of various client needs and risk profile analysis tools and approaches used to meet client's varying financial objectives
- Rapid learning ability to understand and grasp the company's business model and the products and services offered within the group
- A honed sakes technique allowing for the individual to interact, sell and develop personal relationships with a mature demographic of high and ultra-high net wealth private clients.
- Computer literate and technology savvy
Minimum Qualifications:
- Recognised FSCA tertiary qualification. If the employee has not been on an FSP license prior to their appointment with the employer, then they will have 6 years from date of first appointment to successfully complete a recognized qualification.
- Post Grad Diploma in Financial Planning
- Completed RE5
- FSP license as a representative giving advice and providing intermediary services
- Licensed for the following subcategories on a Category 1 License
- Class of Business training completed as per company and FAIS requirements
- 2-5 years' experience as a Private Wealth/Relationship Manager, with experience in high and ultra high net wealth advisory and planning, financial planning and estates planning.
- Valid Drivers License
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-10 years' experience as a Private Wealth/Relationship Manager
- PGDFP qualification
