Job Title: HRD Specialist – Mining

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HRD Specialist to join our team in the mining industry in the North West region of South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support the growth and development of our employees within the mining sector.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our employees in the mining sector
– Implement performance management systems to assess and evaluate employee performance
– Evaluate and identify training needs within the organization
– Collaborate with managers and supervisors to create and implement career development programs
– Monitor and review employee development plans
– Provide coaching and support to employees to help them reach their full potential
– Assist in the recruitment and selection process for key roles within the organization
– Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HRD within the mining sector
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRD within the mining industry
– Mine Overseer’s Certificate of Competency
– Underground Hard Rock Experience
– Certified Trainer, Assessor and Moderator
– Solid understanding of performance management systems and training methodologies
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization
– Proven track record of implementing successful HRD programs in a mining setting
– Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations within the mining sector
Benefits:
– Salary: R1.4m – R1.6m
