Job Description
I am looking for a Mid-Level Tax Compliance Officer for our client (Chartered Accounting firm).
3 or more years’ experience in the following at a small/medium accounting firm:
•Attendance of SARS appointments
•Preparation of documentation for SARS appointments.
•Submission of individual, company, Body corporate, trust and Estate Late Income Tax returns.
•Preparation and submission of Income Tax Returns for exempt entities.
•Preparation and submission of expat Income tax Returns.
•Preparation and submission of Objections and/or appeals.
•Preparation and submission of Foreign Investment Allowance applications
•Preparation of documents and attending of Customs registration appointments
•Tax emigration for individuals
•Preparation of Provisional tax calculations and submissions
•Addressing client queries (Tax & Accounting)
•Preparation and submission of Income tax registrations, deregistration’s.
•Registration of PBO’s with the SARS exemption unit
•Assisting staff with tax and SARS related queries
•Following up on SARS queries both telephonically and in writing
•Reviewing of tax returns and IT14SD’s
•Preparation and submission of Tax Directive applications.
•WIP management and billing of clients.
•Preparation and submission of DTR01 & DTR02 returns.
•Donation tax declarations.
