The main purpose of the position
Operations Coordinator based in Limpopo at Site, South Africa to be part of our global team to implement our vision – Improve the global environment and foster local development. As Operations Coordinator you will be responsible to plan, manage and coordinate tasks and processes to safeguard the projects are controlled and delivered in a technically compliant way.
Main responsibilities
· Business Line: Follow the guidelines and set structurally the project organization as defined by the business line and provide continuous inputs towards proposing improvements or optimization on procedures;
· Back Office organization:
o Plan and manage technical project resources to ensure tasks are completed and delivered in line with the schedule of the proposed work;
o Guarantee and review that technical documentation is considered by service providers and contractors for compliance technically and contractually;
o Manage and interface with contractors and suppliers to launch, negotiate and align all technical aspects of the project;
o Provide full assistance to the PM to complete Project Documentation;
· Site Management organization: In order to ensure projects delivery/execution:
o Guarantee project is implemented according to the Final Project Design;
o Manage and assess design change requests to be approved by the Lead Engineer;
o Monitor and assess the works performed by schedule, compliance, and quality and monitor deviations to identify risks in advance;
o Provide full-time technical support to the PM and Project Team;
o Be able to secure that all HSE procedures are in practice;
o Maintain on-site offices and facilities in a proper way;
o Report and support the Project Manager on the project site activity;
o Manage site logistics and deliveries;
o Manage the available Tam at the site for the different scopes in harmony;
o Signature of any documents related to the project works execution, recognized by South Africa Legislation required.
Technician degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
5 to 8 years of working experience in a relevant role in solar PV plant projects;
Good knowledge of tools and techniques or project schedules/ planning;
Knowledgeable in HSE procedures;
Proficiency Levels - Native (100%); Fluent (75% - 100%), Advanced (50% - 75%) e Limited (25% - 50%)
