Hire Resolve’s client in the construction industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Health & Safety Officer in Wellington.
Responsibilities:
Compile Safety Plans / Files Conduct Internal Auditing Provide Site training (Induction, Toolbox talks, Risk Assessments, Ensure Construction Sites operate within the confines of the H&S Act and Construction Regulations Liaise with Client Agents
Requirements:
3 – 5 years’ experience in Health & Safety in the Construction Industry Ability to work independently Attention to detail oriented Sound knowledge of the Occupational H&S Act / Construction Regulations Stay updated with the latest changes in terms of H&S as promulgated from time to time Matric/Grade 12 SACPCMP Registration Incident Investigator certification Risk Assessor certification Fall Protection certification Legal Liability certification
