We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Manager to oversee our dealership sales operations in Pretoria, West Rand and North West.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets and increase revenue growth for our dealership range of products. The ideal candidate must be able to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives in the automotive and insurance industry.
Job Requirements
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Strong understanding of the automotive and insurance industry (Required).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role (Required).
- Experience and qualifications In Financial Services Industry (Preferred).
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
All functions, duties related to the position include, but are not limited to the following: –
- A key figure head of culture and brand in the market.
- Lead and manage the sales team in various regions to achieve sales targets and increase revenue growth for our dealership range of products.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including dealerships, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ensure that the sales team is well-trained and equipped with the necessary tools and resources to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant information.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns to promote our dealership range of products.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure that sales targets are achieved within the allocated budget.
- Ensure that all sales activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate delivery of merchandise and services to dealerships.
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to sales team members to improve their sales skills and performance.
- Constantly be in the field with sales team, building skills and competence.
INTERNAL / EXTERNAL COOPERATION
- Work closely with other departments within the company to ensure that sales activities are aligned with overall business objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including dealerships, suppliers, and internal teams.
