Hire Resolve’s client, a well-established engineering consultancy, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Engineer specializing in Civil projects and Structural design. This position is based in Westville, KZN.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead civil engineering projects from concept to completion Undertake feasibility studies and site investigations Prepare detailed designs and drawings Provide technical advice and guidance to clients Perform structural analysis and calculations Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals Oversee construction activities and conduct site inspections Manage project budgets and timelines
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration with ECSA (non negotiable) 5 years pre-registration, 5 years post registration or 10 years total Extensive knowledge of civil design principles and practice Advanced skills in structural analysis and design software Strong project management and leadership abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Experience in civil projects and structural design. Experience of leading design team. Experience in running projects. Client interface experience would be good. Computer skills. Prokon or similar. Autocad or similar. Revit would be of benefit. Microsoft suite.
