The following opportunity exists in the Earth Observation Programme,to be filled by an individual with the relevant skills, drive, competencies, and qualifications.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will help grow the relevance of Earth Observation (EO) through the provision of market intelligence and stakeholder engagement for SANSA to lead the South African EO sector in the provision of innovative and fit-for-purpose products and services.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Design, Develop, and Implement a Sector and Business Development Strategy aligned to SANSA strategies. Growth and Development of the Dynamic Sensor Portfolio. Development of Consolidated Business cases. Stakeholder and Partnership Management. Finance and Procurement Management. People Management.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications and experience:
Honours degree (in business, marketing, or related field). A degree in a science or engineering-related field is added advantage. Extensive experience (> 10 years) in earth observation or space applications field from both private and public sectors. At least 10 years in a senior Business Development, Marketing, or Sales role. Demonstrated 5 years of experience managing diverse teams.
