Responsibilities:
Identify local market trends, growth opportunities, and portfolio requirements, and collaborate with local teams, R&D, and global business units to create and reflect business development opportunities. Support the execution of regional Product Management plans, ensuring alignment with global strategies. Develop and evolve the product portfolio to meet regional market needs and growth ambitions. Own technical product expertise, covering everything from raw materials to processing and market-specific requirements. Drive innovation and manage the product pipeline with R&D, focusing on optimizing plant utilization and profitability. Define and implement a relevant product strategy based on the business unit strategy (BUDP). Manage the regional assortment, ensuring it remains competitive, complete, and profitable. Coordinate with global product managers on regional business development actions and apply global product lifecycle management to regional portfolios. Monitor revenue, sales, and market share, implementing strategies to improve performance in collaboration with Sales. Analyze customer feedback and product usage to refine the product roadmap and lifecycle management. Drive innovation projects to commercialization, ensuring alignment with portfolio lifecycle management goals.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Technology, or a related field is essential. At least 5 years of product management experience, specifically within the dairy, beverage or food, demonstrating a strong understanding of the sector’s dynamics. Proven track record of successfully managing product portfolios, from development through to market launch, with a focus on achieving business growth and profitability. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data, customer feedback, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions. Experience in leading cross-functional teams, particularly in a fast-paced environment, and collaborating effectively with departments such as R&D, sales, and supply chain. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels. A solid understanding of global product lifecycle management and the ability to apply this knowledge to regional markets. Experience in driving innovation projects and bringing new products to commercialization, with a focus on enhancing product margins and market competitiveness.
