The New Business Originator (NBO) will be responsible for introducing direct new business and maintaining those client relationships going forward for a niche, commercial financial services firm.
Reporting to the Head of New Business, the NBO will identify, develop acquire new business through the development of relationships with new clients, retention and by promoting the financial products and services.
Develop and execute a business development plan to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
Identify potential clients and establish relationships with them to understand their financial needs.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and development.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the company's CRM system.
Provide exceptional customer service to maintain relationships with existing clients.
Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure that clients receive a seamless experience.

- Asset based finance
- Invoice discounting
- Floorplan financing
Requirements:
- Commercial qualification (finance, marketing, business management or similar will be advantageous)
- Experience in business development in the commercial finance industry will be beneficial
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Drivers licence as role requires someone who will visit clients
