A well established financial services firm would like to welcome to their team, a skilled Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's human resources practices and processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Implementing and administering HR policies and programs
- Managing recruitment and selection process
- Employee onboarding
- Payroll processing
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Arranging team events
- Oversee and manage the performance appraisal process
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- Ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations
- Managing employee relations
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing grievances or other issues
- Supporting team infrastructure, including certain key suppliers (eg. landlord, IT contracting)
- Other tasks to support management in terms of optimisation of human resources
Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of labour laws and regulations in South Africa
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, management, and external partners
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and administering HR programs, policies, and procedures
- Able to conduct organisational assessments, identify issues and opportunities for improvement, and develop action plans to address them
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior human resources management role
