Hire Resolve is excited to present an opportunity for a skilled technician to join our client, a leading plastic manufacturing company. This crucial role focuses on ensuring production continuity by meticulously maintaining machines, equipment, and facilities. You will play a key role in upholding health and safety regulations while adhering to company standards and procedures. As a Technician, you will report directly to the Technical Manager, working closely to support the company’s operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
Follow safety rules according to company policies and regulations. Maintain order, organization, and cleanliness in all assigned areas, adhering to correct workplace hygiene practices to set an example for others. Perform preventive maintenance on machines, molds, and equipment following maintenance plans. Conduct regular inspections on machines, equipment, utilities, and ancillaries, checking relevant parameters and meter readings. Detect and replace worn-out parts, timely submit requests for necessary spare parts or supplier’s technical support to the Technical Manager. Carry out repairs and fabricate mechanical and other parts using workshop tools and equipment. Offer support during electromechanical installation and setup of machines and equipment. Find solutions to production/processing or technical issues to improve equipment performance. Perform full mold changes and setup. Closely cooperate with quality and production teams to solve technical issues affecting the finished product. Keep track of spare parts present in the warehouse and inform the Technical Manager accordingly. Record maintenance interventions to track equipment and spare parts lifecycle. Support technical staff in solving minor technical problems affecting the quality of the product and production process, focusing on the relationship between specific elements and the desired result. Promote effective communication between the team and the Manager. Interact with different business functions to drive a high-performance culture.
Requirements:
Matriculation (high school diploma). Millwright trade tested. Experience with Sidel and Husky machines. Excellent applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and/or electronic systems. Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM). Good applied knowledge of WCM standards. Basic knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment rules and practices. Ability to operate manual and electric forklifts.
