Requirements and skills:
• Diploma in Engineering as minimum requirement – Mechanical, Mechatronic or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum experience: 4 years’ experience as a Project Engineer preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, 2D CAD, 3D CAD (advantageous)
• Must have the ability to work independently as well as function within a team.
• Must be able to travel both nationally and internationally.
• A positive attitude, self-motivated and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
• To perform system design and control implementation of said designs, under the leadership of the Project Manager.
• To provide technical leadership with regards to solutions offered, so that projects are completed to specific standards and criteria, within cost and to the required schedule.
• To confirm technical feasibility of mechanical solutions as offered to customers.
• To provide technical guidance and support to project team, operations department, sales department and clients.
• To become and stay knowledgeable on products, components and technology applicable to specific product range.
