Hire Resolve’s client is currently looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Pretoria. As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects and assist senior quantity surveyors in managing cost management and quantity surveying tasks. Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects Support in managing quantity surveying tasks, including take-offs and measurements Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost control and adherence to budget Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts and progress reports Conduct site visits and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers as required Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in quantity surveying or a similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing measurements and calculations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel to project sites as required
