The IIE Varsity College Sandton Campus is seeking appointees in the field of Commerce to strengthen the teaching and research capabilities in the Faculty of Management Studies department for the following lecturing roles:
- Risk Management 3A
- Risk Management 3B
Job Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is the delivery of effective facilitation/lecturing on qualifications and all associated academic activities such as student engagement and support that will promote student success and learning.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Ideal:
- Honours in Enterprise Risk Management, or Honours in Risk Management
Alternatively:
- Honours in one of the business-related fields (e.g. enterprise risk management, entrepreneurship, supply chain or project management) – with Enterprise Risk Management to the third year level;
or - Bachelor's degree in Enterprise Risk Management or a similarly related field (e.g. entrepreneurship, supply chain or project management) to the third-year level PLUS an MBA or a Postgraduate Diploma in Business or Education.
Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
- Industry experience in commerce.
- Lecturing experience in Enterprise Risk Management/ risk management/ financial/ hazard/ operational or strategic risk assessment/ business/ supply chain/ project management
- Work experience in the fields of risk/ entrepreneurship/ supply chain/project management/ knowledge manager/ risk assessment (in the fields of financial, hazard, operational or strategic risk assessment).
- Being involved in risk analysis and the components and functions of optimisation in the operational process.
