Job Title: HRD Superintendent – Mining – Limpopo

Overview: Hire Resolve’s Client are seeking an experienced and qualified HRD Superintendent to join their mining operation in Limpopo. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive Human Resources Development (HRD) program to support the growth and success of our mining operation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic HRD plan that aligns with the overall business objectives of the mining operation. Conduct training needs assessments to identify skills gaps and training opportunities within the workforce. Design and deliver training programs to develop the skills and competencies of employees across all levels of the organization. Coordinate and manage apprenticeship and skills development programs to support the recruitment and retention of a skilled workforce. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to ensure that they are meeting the needs of the business and driving performance improvement. Provide guidance and support to line managers on HRD matters, including performance management, career development, and succession planning. Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and industry best practices in all HRD activities. Manage the HRD budget and resources effectively to maximize the return on investment for training initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. A Valid Trade Certificate or Mine Overseer’s Certificate will be advantageous Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources Development within the mining industry. Experience in designing and implementing training programs, apprenticeship schemes, and skills development initiatives. Strong knowledge of South African labor laws, regulations, and HR practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong leadership and project management skills.
