The main purpose of the role
This role is to effectively support site operations with regards to purchasing of general warehouse consumables and managing supplier invoices to ensure payments are adequately made, raising billing to client, collating staff timesheets, keeping an updated record of assets, recording of operational key statistics and financial reporting to branch manager. Responsibilities:
Financial reporting to support to the Branch Manager in terms of P&L Variance analysis Report all anomalies Respond to P&L queries timeously and investigate where necessary Review P&Ls and submit journals to Shared Services Collate & present monthly financial performance report on operations Liaise with Branch Manager on manning, equipment & other high costs monthly KPI Reporting Table reasoning for any major variances in KPI's and providing that to Admin and Branch Manager Support Branch Managers with all finance and administrative requirements Capturing of monthly branch expenses Raise monthly accruals Release provisions in the balance sheet Good understanding of reconciliations Requirements:
Grade 12 Essential: Min of ABET Level 4 Literacy and Numeracy or equivalent test Finance/ Accounting Certificate/ Diploma is essential Min 3 years relevant experience within a retail or FMCG warehousing environment Advanced computer literacy level in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook ERP system experience (SAP advantageous) Sound financial acumen 3 year’s experience in adherence to budget, contract management and service level agreements
